OVERVIEW: The Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Facilities Manager oversees, supervises, schedules and coordinates events held in performing arts centers (PACs) and related arts facilities at district schools; the manager facilitates and implements technical and production requirements and supervises assigned staff. This VAPA Facilities Manager position will oversee the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts Centers.

POSITION SPECIFICS: - VAPA Facilities Manager position will oversee the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts (SDSCPA) Centers - Working Location is SDSCPA - 2425 Dusk Drive, San Diego, CA 92139 - Scheduled for 40 hours per week, 12 months per year - Qualifies for District Paid health and wellness benefits for employee and dependents The Visual and Performing Arts Facilities Manager will be paid on the AASD Classified Supervisor II Salary Schedule. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to a business degree and four years of experience as a manager, director or supervisor in a performing arts center, theater or related enterprise, such as technical theater and theatrical design, preferably in a public school setting working directly with students. LICENSES AND REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver’s license.
