DEFINITION: A substitute teacher is employed on an on-call day-to-day basis. Substitutes are expected to fulfill all functions of the regular teacher in a satisfactory manner, under the direction of the site administrator, the Lead Personnel Agents or designee.

CREDENTIAL: Possession of bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, and eligible for a substitute teacher permit. SALARY: $200 per day - $225 long term - $225 credential/retired teachers - $250 credential/retired teachers long term - $225 per day for Special Ed
APPLICATION PROCEDURE Applications from qualified candidates are invited. A complete application file consists of: • A completed certificated EDJOIN application; • An up-to-date resume; • Three Professional Letters of Recommendation dated and signed within the last two years (typed signatures will not be allowed); • Proof of bachelor's degree (Official/Unofficial Transcripts) from an accredited college or university to evaluate if candidate meets BSR for permit • Proof of valid credentials held; or proof of Basic Skills Requirement for Emergency Permit eligibility provided
