<p><span style="font-weight:900">GENERAL INFORMATION:</span>Serves as a fully qualified teacher in a middle or secondary grade setting, teaching multiple subjects within community-based alternative education environment and/or juvenile correctional facility. Employs a range of strategies to deliver academically challenging instruction while addressing the social/emotional growth of the child. Experience with trauma-informed and restorative practices preferred.

The teacher must have expertise in positive behavioral interventions; must possess the self-awareness, insight and compassion to respond appropriately to student behaviors.
