Job Summary
This position will be responsible for teaching two sections of general Art courses to high school students on Wednesdays from 8:30a-1pm. Candidates with a California single subject art credential are preferred, but other candidates with relevant experience teaching art will also be considered. CORE Butte Charter School is a Personalized Learning School. An individual learning plan is developed by the teacher for each student. Students attend center classes two - four days per week with parents providing instructional support on the days that the student is not attending classes. The teacher monitors progress, assesses for understanding, and guides learning along with the parent. Optional learning environments may include independent study, supplemental classroom instruction, and/or classes in the community.
