Speech Language Pathologists: serve as head teachers in our classrooms. They apply evidence-based social-communication strategies to establish a language-rich learning environment and are instrumental in setting a positive climate for learning. They are responsible for developing, implementing and directing activities that support each child's language learning needs, as determined by IEP goals and objectives. Together with program support staff, they manage the collection of data, perform standardized and informal assessments, as needed, and periodically report progress made toward individual goals and objectives.
