*Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver’s License * Possession of a valid and appropriate School Bus Driver’s Certificate * Possession of a First Aid Certificate issued by the American Red Cross or pass equivalent tests given by the California Highway Patrol * Possession of a School Bus Driver Instructor’s Certificate * Possession of a Red Cross First Aid Instructor’s Certificate is desirable Chosen candidate must be accepted by The California Department of Education to complete required training program and obtain this certificate within one year. The California Department of Education requirements for acceptance can be found at: www.cde.ca.gov/ls/tn/im/instruguidelines.asp
