For the 2023-2024 School Year Teaches content and skills in English language, literature and composition, as well as in reading to secondary students, utilizing course of study adopted by the Board of Education.

All of the following information must be received before your application will be considered for this position: 1) letter of application (to Doug Kaelin, Superintendent); 2) Certificated application; 3) resume of experience; 4) at least three letters of recommendation or placement file, 5) and copies of transcripts, credentials, verification of CBEST and NCLB.
1. CREDENTIAL: Single Subject English Credential; or appropriate credential as prescribed by law. Must have CLAD. We will consider an Intern with verification from an Institute of Higher Education. 2. PERSONAL QUALITIES: Maintain a professional appearance; meet District standards for physical and mental health; demonstrate enthusiasm for assignment and willingness to participate in supervision of extra-curricular activities; demonstrate ability to maintain cooperative relations with others; have strong work ethic; willingness to be a part of the overall school program. 3. PROFESSIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS: Better than average recommendations from supervisors and other professionals who have observed and evaluated personal characteristics and scholastic attainment. 4. NCLB: Must meet No Child Left Behind requirements. 5. OTHER: The following are preferred, not required: Bilingual (Spanish/English); and coaching ability. 6. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
