Job Summary

Job Summary

Mental Health Technicians work to support school districts within Trinity County on Tier 1 mental health supports in alignment with the identified goals and objectives of the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA Grant). This includes supporting classwide instruction in social and emotional practices (SEL), restorative chats and practices, as well as coordinating students supports between the tiers. Coordinated student supports may include accessing higher levels of mental health supports, student intervention/student study team supports, as well as interagency linkage.

Three Professional References Letter of Interest Current Resume Pass Pre-Employment Physical Valid California Class C Driver's License Background Check Complete at least 48 units at an institution of higher education; or Possess an Associate’s or higher degree; or Pass a formal state or local academic assessment. The assessment must demonstrate knowledge of and the ability to assist in the teaching of reading, writing and mathematics
