Responsibilities: Teach Science to 6th through 8th grades and STEM Club -Prepare motivating and engaging hands-on NGSS-aligned lessons that reflect knowledge of the subject matter, best practices, and child development. -Employ various teaching methods and differentiate instruction to engage different learning styles and ability levels in the classroom. -Generate a classroom culture that is engaging, student-focused, and effectively managed. -Encourage an inclusive classroom that accepts the different perspectives and backgrounds of the students and elicits a greater understanding of the world around them with a global perspective. -Lead daily advisory with an emphasis on students’ academic, executive functioning skills. and social-emotional learning goals. -Effectively and consistently partner and communicate with parents, colleagues, and students. -Participate in professional development and be open to new ideas and innovative learning. -Participate in school events and contribute to the school’s plan for growth.

California Credential- Single Subject or Multiple Subject with science instruction experience.
