Authorized credential in appropriate subject area issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Professional, Professional Clear, Standard Secondary, or Preliminary Single Subject Credential in subject area. Must have ELL authorization. Copy of Valid Credential Transcripts Resume Three current letters of recommendation Appropriate placement on the salary scale, as determined by education and experience. A maximum of 15 years of experience may be granted if that experience was within the last 15 years.

The Lassen Union High School District is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Susanville, CA, which is approximately 2 hours from Redding, CA or 1.5 hours from Reno, NV.
The District pays $1,100 per month towards the benefit package for full-time teachers.
Beginning the 2021-2022 school year, all new teachers who sign teaching contracts with Lassen Union High School District will be paid a $2,500 signing bonus. After successful completion of the first year, and a signed contract for the second year you will be paid an additional $2,500 for a combined total of $5,000.
