Job Summary
The job of Budget Analyst is done for the purpose/s of providing support and leadership to department activities with specific responsibility to perform a variety of complex technical work involving maintenance and support of various financial areas of Fiscal Services, in compliance with established policies; providing instructions, recommendations and/or accounting support to other personnel. REQUIREMENTS: Two years of increasingly responsible levels of accounting, fiscal record management and reporting experience, preferably including specialized functions pertaining to program fund accounting and management. Ability to Interpret and apply specific laws, regulations, policies as they apply to accounting operations; principles and methods of budgeting; accurate accounting/bookkeeping; planning and managing projects; accurately prepare statistical and fiscal statement/summaries. High School Diploma or equivalent.
