FCUSD is seeking a motivated School Nurse to join our administrative leadership team. We are looking for an individual with extensive experience working in TK-12 schools, building strong interdepartmental relationships, grant writing and program development, and building community sustainable partnerships. This role will be an integral part of the Health & Wellness department which consists of School Nurses, LVN’s, Health Assistants, COVID Clerks and additional support staff. **Job Description is Under Review** Knowledge and experience implementing and leading health related programs A minimum of 4 years of school nursing experience In depth knowledge and experience in school health requirements, physical assessments, parent education and engagement strategies, development of community partners, professional development form staff, and the clinical nursing care of children; specifically, those requiring specialized healthcare procedures in schools.
Employment is conditional upon satisfaction set forth below: - DOJ Clearance /Background Check - TB Clearance - Valid CA Driver’s License - Board of Trustees Approval **Pursuant to the State Public Health Officer Order of August 11, 2021 affecting all TK -12 public and private school employees, all Folsom Cordova Unified School District employees and substitutes are required to either provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or participate in weekly COVID-19 testing.**
