Paraeducator - Behavioral Health position for Flamson Middle School. **This is a full-time position with benefits** PCN# 220049 Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator and site administrator; and under the direction of the Behavior Health - TOSA, the Behavioral Health Assistant Paraeducator will provide support to all students, including but not limited to students with social-emotional and behavioral issues. The Behavioral Health Assistant will implement comprehensive positive behavioral support plans, effective behavior management strategies, and social-emotional strategies; deliver instructions; participate as a member of the educational team, and help design and implement all components of a student’s behavior and emotional support program.

Education: *High School Graduation or equivalent (required) Must meet ONE of the following requirements: ~48 semester college units required (provide transcripts) ~Pass District Paraeducator Exam (District Exam is offered every Thursday at 1 at the PRJUSD District Office; 800 Niblick Rd) ~Certificate of Proficiency for Instructional Aides (NCLB certificate) ~Associate's degree or higher EXPERIENCE: Experience working in an educational setting implementing intensive behavioral intervention programs for students with complex and/or severe behavioral problems.
