Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Support Services, the Mental Health Counselor will provide socio-emotional and mental health support for students at schools throughout the district; promote early identification of students with social-emotional issues, provide multi-tiered support interventions, supports and services; and address
barriers preventing academic, behavioral, attendance and social-emotional success.
Desirable Qualifications:
Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
Bilingual Spanish, Chinese or Vietnamese candidates are encouraged to apply.
Other:
Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with parents, professionals, and paraprofessional personnel and possess a valid California motor vehicle operator’s license
AUSD requires all employees to have the COVID-19 vaccine.
