      San Mateo Union High School District is seeking qualified candidates for a 1.0 FTE (5/5) Italian teacher position at San Mateo High School for the 22-23 SY. Individuals new to our District can be credited for up to 7 years of previous experience for salary placement purposes. For information regarding our district, please visit our website at www.smuhsd.org. Teachers employed in part time positions may do additional substitute work to receive benefits as if they were a full time employee. All positions are hired initially on a temporary basis. The District is offering a $5,000 relocation incentive to new employees that are from outside of the California Bay Area. For purposes of this incentive The San Francisco Bay Area shall be defined as the counties of San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda, Marin, Solano, Sonoma, Napa, and Contra Costa. This incentive requires a two year commitment and is paid half at the beginning of the first year worked and half in the beginning of the second year worked. The District also has moving cost reimbursement program, up to $1,500 worth of moving costs may be reimbursed if moving from outside the San Francisco Bay Area as outlined above.
