Job Summary

To lead site Primary Care team in the implementation of daily, appropriate, safe and child/family-focused child development services for pre-school children in a center-based setting according to the California Exemplary Program Standards, Community Care Licensing, and National Best Practice Standards. Lead Teachers/Site Supervisors reports to MCOE State Preschool Director.

-Possession of a Child Development Teacher Permit or higher level Child Development Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. -Possession of Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certificates -Must be 18 years of age or older -The ability to recognize and effectively respond to the physical, intellectual, and emotional needs of preschool children - IMMUNIZATIONS REQUIRED: Must be current on the following immunizations per Senate Bill 792 in the State of California. Current proof of shots must be provided before hire: Measles, Pertussis (or DTaP), and Influenza immunization

Applicant will be responsible for completing an application package through Edjoin (www.edjoin.org) to include an application, Letter of Introduction addressing the position qualifications and requirements, current resume, copy of credential and two current signed letters of reference .
