Evening position Monday through Thursday 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. Beginning level ESL class setting. • Provide instruction to adult ESL students in reading, writing, speaking, listening, job soft skills and workforce readiness • Responsible for tracking, testing, student entry and exit forms

- Valid CA credential (one of the following): - Standard Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential with EL Authorization - Single Subject Teaching Credential - English - Multiple Subject Teaching Credential - Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential Part/Full - Time ESL
- Copy of Transcript (Official Transcripts required upon hiring)
- Letter of Introduction
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three - Required within one calendar year)
- Other (CBEST or equivalent)
- Resume
- Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential - English as a Second Language OR Multiple Subject Teaching Credential - General Subjects
OR Single Subject Teaching Credential - English

• Ability to differentiate and scaffold instruction for multi-level ESL learners
• Experience with students of differing cultural backgrounds/learning styles
• Interest or experience in integrating technology in the curriculum
• Familiarity with EL Civics and CASAS preferred
• Participate in monthly Professional Learning Community (PLC)
• Become certified to proctor CASAS assessment tests
