Job Summary

Primary Function: The IT Technician Assistant will embrace Larchmont’s mission and introduce new ideas, systems and initiatives to achieve further excellence, growth and impact. The IT Technician Assistant will report directly to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for maintaining computer hardware and systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. Thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The IT technician will ensure our school sites and Network Support Office have working office equipment and tools.

Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • TB Test clearance & DOJ finger printing clearance • Demonstrated ability to work independently and be self-directed while also able to work collaboratively with staff and management • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines • Strong communication (written and verbal), organization, and interpersonal skills • Excellent writing and analytical skills • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and motivated • Demonstrated computer aptitude and experience • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly, advanced level Excel and Word) and ability to • use Excel for data management and organization Other Requirements: Support the Mission and Vision of the School; exercise good judgment and moral character; fingerprint clearance; TB test clearance.
