Director of Parent Relations Responsibilities: • Design and facilitate a strategic plan for parent programming that develops and fosters positive relationships between the school and the parent community. • Create, oversee and execute opportunities for parent partnership and engagement through on-campus programming (Parent Speaker Series, social events, etc.) volunteer opportunities, and activities. Assist with the logistics, planning and execution of all. Serve as guide to multiple staff members and volunteers for event planning and parent engagement. • Act as a resource and liaison to families in answering questions, facilitating requests, identifying additional staff support if required, and providing solutions. • Responsible for all efforts to ensure comprehensive and timely re-enrollment of students in grades Jr. K to 11. • Support Admissions by meeting with all prospective families to discuss how QLS partners with families to enable community engagement and connection. Discuss how communication pathways between school and families are facilitated. Answer pending questions. • Assist Admissions in activities related to the admissions cycle and process. • Responsible for working with preschool campuses to identify students eligible for the Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs, contact families, conference with parents to discuss the program specifics and assist with completion of the enrollment process. • Actively communicate with staff throughout QLS to keep them well-informed of ongoing activities related to parent involvement. • Utilize best practices in communication to parents to keep them informed of upcoming events and meetings in coordination with Marketing and Communications. • Identify individuals/families to participate as Parent Ambassadors who are supportive and enthusiastic about the mission of Quarry Lane and can positively and effectively communicate information to prospective and newly enrolled families.
