Job Summary
Holy Spirit Parish School, a Catholic elementary school in Land Park within the Diocese of Sacramento, is seeking a highly qualified full-time Spanish teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. Holy Spirit is a family-oriented school and has a strong tradition of Faith, Service, and Academics. The candidate must be able to create engaging lesson plans that support our curriculum, integrate technology tools within the lessons, provide differentiation as needed, and practice effective classroom management. Enthusiasm for classroom innovation and ability to devise a variety of educational experiences are valued at Holy Spirit. Requirements A Bachelor’s Degree is required, and a CA Teaching Credential is preferred. A minimum of three years of teaching experience in elementary school grades K – 8 is preferred for this position, however, candidates with less experience may be considered depending on background. The successful candidate will also possess a positive attitude, excellent written and verbal skills, strong organizational skills, and proven success within a work setting that requires collaboration, cooperation, and collegiality. Ability to lead one or more co-curricular activities is desirable.
