MUST hold a current California Teaching Credential OR a 30 Day Sub Permit with teaching experience. (Direct all Credentialing questions to the San Diego County of Ed or the CTC directly.) 2. Resume (include teaching experience/classroom management) 3. Two (2) Recent (within the last year preferably), and 'SIGNED' Letters of Recommendation, (pertaining to your teaching background). The LOR's must include the person's contact information as well. (Do NOT submit 'unsigned' LOR's, as they will NOT be accepted.) 4. MUST have Fingerprints on file through the San Diego County Office of Education's 'Fingerprint Clearinghouse' database. (For additional information visit SDCOE Livescan Appointment Page link: https://livescan.sdcoe.net. 5. The first 3 requirements MUST be attached to your EdJoin application. Applications will not be processed if SDCOE's Fingerprint Clearinghouse does not have record of your prints, or the CTC does not have record of your CTC or 30 Day Permit. Note: ALL 'sections' of the application itself MUST be completed. Do not include any additional attachments other than notated. APPLICATIONS THAT ARE INCOMPLETE OR MISSING ATTACHMENTS WILL BE SCREENED OUT AND NOT REVIEWED.

ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATIONS: * Current TB Test must be available (valid for 4 years). We do not accept risk assessments. * JPA Trainings will be required for both Mandatory Reporter and Sexual Harassment through CUSD, or proof of certifications taken elsewhere. (If you currently have certifications available from another District you are welcome to attach them also) *Substitute Teachers must complete at least one assignment every 90 days in order to remain active. If you do not complete a minimum of one assignment in a 90 day period, you will be removed from the substitute teacher pool.
