• Possesses an earned Baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university with a major emphasis on elementary education and/or including courses needed to meet credential requirements. • Possesses a clear & valid CTC Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. • Possesses one (1) of the following: Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the CTC; At least 24 units in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, or professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children that is comparable to the 24 units of education and experience in Early Childhood Education environments (Note, any teacher who is or was assigned to teach TK, or a combination of kindergarten and TK, on or before July 1, 2015, is "grandfathered in" to teach TK without having to meet the additional unit requirement for TK teachers set forth in Education Code section 48000(g)).

In addition to completing the Edjoin application, you must submit a cover letter, resume, 3 letters of recommendation, answers to supplemental questions, copy of credential(s) and transcripts. If you do not have a credential yet, you must submit a letter from your university. 1. Please review the MPCSD Core Values at https://district.mpcsd.org/Page/17 and write no more than one page on how you embody those values. Please title this attachment "Core Values". 2. Please answer the following question and attach: Describe a time when you or someone close to you was 'othered' in a work or school environment. How would you go about changing the structures that contributed to the situation and build a more equitable and inclusive environment?
