Part-time 26hrs per week begins July 1, 2022 St. Ignatius Parish School is located at 3245 Arden Way, Sacramento, CA. The school was established in 1954 and currently employs fifty-five faculty and staff, with an enrollment Preschool-8th grade of 415 students. Classroom size ranges from 35-40 students. Minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree and experience working in a classroom with grade school students with the intent of completing a Credentialing program. You will need to motivate students as they work towards their fitness goals while they also learn and adopt healthy lifestyle choices. A strong emphasis is placed on our Catholic faith and its growth in our students and the student’s progress towards achievement of our Jesuit Virtues and our Schoolwide Learning Expectations. The teacher is entrusted directly with the spiritual and academic preparation of students, fostering knowledge, skills, and understanding. The teacher is further entrusted with the student’s social and personal growth, providing guidance and example that promotes Catholic values, responsible behavior, and self- discipline. The teacher performs this trust in cooperation with the parents, who are the primary educators of their children, with the assistance of support staff and under the direction of the school’s administration.
