This position requires strong oral and written proficiency in French. Students receive instruction in both French and English through the Foreign Language Academies of Glendale or FLAG (our Dual Language Immersion Program).

Credential Required: Applicants must hold a valid California Multiple Subject Credential and must hold a BCLAD in French. Glendale Unified is seeking dynamic educators who exhibit: • Effective skills in working with English Learner (EL) students • Strong pedagogical skills • Breadth of experience in educational technology • Instruction with a 21st Century perspective

Please submit the following: • Letter of Introduction • Resume • Three letters of recommendation (preferably within the last six months and from at least one direct supervisor) • Credential (see above) • English Learner Authorization (see above) • Proof of passing of (California Basic Educational Skills Test) CBEST or equivalent • Unofficial Transcripts (copies of all college coursework credits) Applicants must attach all required documents as part of their EDJOIN application.
