Job Summary

Middle School Band and Music Teacher at Lawrence Jones Middle School THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION lasting 1 - 2 years to cover a Leave of Absence A recent strike resolution has increased our salary levels by 5%, includes a one-time $1000 bonus for the beginning of the 22/23 School Year and a 3.61% raise at the start of the 23/24 School Year. All teachers are paid a $747 annual Bilingual Stipend, Master's and Ph.D. Stipends are available for those who qualify. Professional Development units are accepted every October for opportunities to increase salary. Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits at CRPUSD cover the employee and their immediate family at a composite rate. The monthly employee contribution is the same, regardless of spouse and number of dependents. Additional optional benefits such as 403b/457a plans, FSA/HSA, Cancer, Accident, Disability and Life Insurance are also available. A zero cost Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) is offered to Employee and covered family members. The EAP offers financial and legal advice, plus 6 counseling sessions (ex: family counseling, couple counseling, individual counseling) with local providers per year, per reason, per person. CRPUSD contributes 17% of your annual salary to your CalSTRS Retirement Fund.
