Board Certified Behavior Analyst PCN# NEW Under the supervision of the Director of Special Education, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), will organize and direct the operations and activities involved in the development and implementation of behavior management programs, plans, and strategies for identified students according to established methodologies and procedures. Provides consultation, training, modeling and direct support to administrators, classified and certificated staff, service providers and parents concerning behavioral strategies, interventions and programs. Coordinates communication, information, resources and staff development activities to meet student needs and enhance educational effectiveness of behavioral programs and services.

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certificate {or in process} • Master’s Degree in Psychology or Special Education • Autism Certification • Minimum of three years supervision and/or teaching experience with students with exceptional needs. • Evidence of behavioral training and experience working with students who are on the autism spectrum, are identified with an emotional disturbance, or exhibit behavioral challenges. • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certified (or willing to obtain certification) • Experience in a school district or county office of education. • Knowledge Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) • Functional/Behavioral Assessments
