Responsibilities Teach kindergarten students with purpose and planning. Prepare motivating and stimulating lessons. Employ a variety of teaching methods and differentiated instruction to engage different learning styles and ability levels in the classroom. Maintain accurate records of assessment Generate a classroom culture that is engaging, student-focused, and effectively managed. Effectively and consistently partner and communicate with parents, colleagues, and students. Participate in professional development, reflect on teaching, and be open to new ideas and innovative learning. Participate in school events and contribute to the school’s plan for growth Perform duties assigned when needed for the supervision of students Qualifications Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred Teaching credential Experience teaching kindergarten age students or young elementary students Ability to design and deliver lessons based on best practices for math, reading, writing, and social studies instruction Experience with project-based learning Positive collaborator and a strong
