We are seeking to fill an elementary teaching position (5th and 6th grade Humanities) for our Elementary School program. Responsibilities: Teach Reading, Writing, Social Studies Prepare motivating and stimulating lessons that reflect knowledge of the subject matter, best practices, and child development. Employ a variety of teaching methods and differentiated instruction to engage different learning styles and ability levels in the classroom. Maintain accurate records of assessment. Generate a classroom culture that is engaging, student-focused, and effectively managed. Encourage an inclusive classroom that accepts the different perspectives and backgrounds of the students and elicits a greater understanding of the world around them with a global perspective. Effectively and consistently partner and communicate with parents, colleagues, and students. Participate in professional development, reflect on teaching, and be open to new ideas and innovative learning. Participate in school events and contribute
