We are seeking to fill an elementary teaching position (5th and 6th grade Humanities) for our Elementary School program. Responsibilities: Teach Reading, Writing, Social Studies Prepare motivating and stimulating lessons that reflect knowledge of the subject matter, best practices, and child development. Employ a variety of teaching methods and differentiated instruction to engage different learning styles and ability levels in the classroom. Maintain accurate records of assessment. Generate a classroom culture that is engaging, student-focused, and effectively managed. Encourage an inclusive classroom that accepts the different perspectives and backgrounds of the students and elicits a greater understanding of the world around them with a global perspective. Effectively and consistently partner and communicate with parents, colleagues, and students.
