Academy of Our Lady of Peace (OLP), an all girls’, Catholic high school in the tradition of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet (CSJ), located in San Diego, is currently seeking to hire a Director of Facilities, and presents an exciting opportunity to oversee a dynamic environment. The Director of Facilities reports directly to the Head of School and provides the necessary leadership, planning, coordination and management of campus-wide construction of new facilities and modification of existing facilities; conducts needs assessments and develops and maintains a long-range facilities master plan for the school; plans and oversees professional services contract work; manages hard costs and soft costs. This position oversees campus facilities infrastructure, personnel and health and wellness program. OLP is a diverse school community of 750 girls and on average 95 employees, that strives to educate young women of heart, faith, courage and excellence.  As the oldest high school in San Diego and only remaining all girls’ Catholic high school, celebrating 140 years educating young women, OLP takes pride in honoring both its traditions of sisterhood, alongside a spirit of innovation. The school celebrates a diverse student body with close to 18% of its students calling Baja California home, commuting across the US - Mexico border each day. Upwards of 70% of the student body identify as women of color, coming from over 82 different zip codes across all of San Diego.

At the time of submitting your application, OLP requires both a cover letter and resume, along with transcripts and three references from supervisors who have seen your work directly. Upon hiring, all candidates will need to provide official transcripts, a fingerprint live scan, COVID vaccine documentation (per current California CDPH emergency law) or test weekly, and a negative TB test.
