Job Summary
Under direct supervision of the school resource officer, reports to the Assistant Principal, during summer and non-school days, reports to the Director of Maintenance, assists in supervision and security of the campus. This is a grant funded position and subject to Education Code 45117(a) through the 2023-2024 school year. Must possess the ability to work effectively with students; establish a positive rapport with students, faculty and all members of the school community; provide a positive role model; communicate school rules and expectations in a positive manner; maintain a high level of professionalism, especially with regard to confidentiality of students; understand and follow oral and written directions; maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work and able to maintain visual surveillance with video equipment.
