The Quarry Lane School, a private, Jr. K-12, International Baccalaureate school in Dublin, CA, seeks an experienced Math teacher to teach a six-week summer school Algebra I class Monday-Friday, June 8th - July 17^th. We are looking for an instructor to teach the 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. class and the 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. class. This class is equivalent to a year-long/2 semester UC approved “c” course.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Create lesson plans for each day
• Supervise and instruct students during class time
• Provide individual support to students needing additional instruction
• Provide grades and written comments at the end of the course for each student

• Belief in setting high expectations for themselves and students
• Excellent communication and human relation skills
• Positive "Can do" attitude

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required)
• M.S or Ph.D in Math preferred. 
• Two years of experience teaching Math/Algebra I.
• Passionate about education and teaching high school students. 
• Enthusiastic person with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
