Job Summary
The Dir. Of Student Life and Leadership at Saint Mary’s High School is a full-time, 12-month position. The candidate will have the following primary duties including, but are not limited to: • Manage student activities and events • Provide advanced support to students • Identify best practices and implement processes • Train, coach, counsel and evaluate performance of direct reports and students • Reports to the Principal

• Teach Student Government and Leadership and/or another subject, TBD
• Supervise Student Leadership Coordinator
• Coordinate Graduation and Senior Activities
• Conduct Student Elections
• Conduct all Homecoming Events
• Facilitate Catholic Schools Week
• Supervise Dances
• Coordinate Yearbook and Senior pictures
• Oversee Rallies
• Oversee Spring Spirit Week
• Facilitate Powder Puff and Rough and Tough
• Supervise Green Machine
• Manage Class Moderators
• Oversee Clubs
• Organize Teacher Duties
• Attend Conferences & Training
• Maintain Student Activities Budget
• Other duties as assigned
Job Specifications/Requirements
Education:
BA/BS degree preferred
Job experience:
Experience working in a leadership capacity with high school students preferred
AND/OR
Other experience working in a supervisory and/or leadership capacity
Technical/Functional skills:
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Good writing skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to operate office machinery (computer, laptop, printer, email, etc)
- Innovative and inclusive
- Ability to build and maintain campus culture
