Job Summary

We are seeking bilingual educators for our two Spanish/English, dual immersion elementary schools, Baywood Elementary in Los Osos and Pacheco Elementary in San Luis Obispo. Candidates should have a Bilingual Authorization or be in the process of obtaining one. Position will be opened until filled, interviews will be ongoing throughout the spring. Multiple openings expected for the 22/23 school year.

      A valid California Multiple Subject credential with English Learner (CLAD) is required. Applicants must be bilingual/biliterate in English and Spanish and hold or qualify for a Bilingual Authorization in Spanish. The $5000 signing bonus will be paid out $1250 with first pay warrant of the 22-23 school year, $1250 with the first pay warrant of the 23-24 school year and $2500 with the first pay warrant of the 24-25 school year. Out of state applicants must qualify for a Multiple Subject credential and pass the CSET 147 exam in order to qualify for a temporary bilingual authorization. If you are selected, we will assist you in obtaining the appropriate documentation. Attach copies of out of state credential and verification of CSET 147 (either certificate of passing or confirmation of registration for exam). Applicants who have not yet received their credentials MUST attach a status letter from their university showing the expected date of completion of the credential program as well as verification of eligibility for the bilingual authorization in Spanish.
