Paraeducator - Special Ed / SH (6hrs) @ Lewis MS PCN #220068 PCN#2735 PCN#2196 PCN#3774 PCN#3276 Under the direction of the Special Education Director and site administrator, the Special Education Paraeducator assists a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of Special Education students; assists in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEP’S); provides routine clerical support. Other duties will be commensurate with demonstrated ability, training, education and experience.

* High School Diploma or equivalent (required) * 48 (or more) college semester units OR certification of passing the District Paraeducator Exam OR possesses a Certificate of Proficiency examination in compliance with Education Code and No Child Left Behind Act. (required) * Experience working with children with Special Education needs (preferred) ***PLEASE NOTE: The Paso Robles JUSD offers this test every Thursday at 1 at the District Office (800 Niblick Rd, Paso Robles) OR you may take the paraeducator exam at SLOCOE any Thursday at 9 a.m.. For more information regarding the paraeducator test at SLOCOE, please call 805.543-7732
