Job Summary

Job Summary

Assist the Cadet Corps Advisor in a State sponsored leadership development program, which includes instruction in health, wellness and fitness development, drill, and ceremonies (marching), instruction in team sports, and instruction in the 8 CA Cadet Corps state standards, including first aid, emergency preparedness, map reading, leadership, citizenship, and patriotism. Assist students in developing self-discipline and a sense of responsibility. Participation hours average 2-3/week including several overnight events.

3 reference letters Resume Current/Former Officer (honorably discharged); or warrant officer; or enlisted personnel of any uniformed service; applicants without prior military service will be considered if voluntarily served in auxiliary or established cadet organization, or applicants without military services but who are currently employed as emergency service personal such as police officers, paramedics, firefighters, completed or ability to pass and complete the CACC Orientation Course prior to appointment, clear FBI/DOJ background check, Clear TB results, high school diploma or equivalency; possess integrity; exhibit exemplary work ethic; great role model to students and staff.

CACC Orientation Course will be offered on the following dates: • 15 MAY 2022 • 11 JUL 2022
