Supervisory teachers at Pacific View Charter School are responsible for ensuring the success of our students. During weekly meetings between the teacher, student and learning coach, (parent/guardian, guardian), Supervisory Teachers discuss and assist students in the completion of their weekly assignments, monitor their progress, and grade the student’s completed work. Teachers are required to maintain subject matter expertise and complete knowledge of the California state standards. The Supervisory Teacher will design high quality engaging lessons with a focus on collaborative learning that support the development of higher order thinking skills and promote a growth mindset. Teachers are expected to support the PVCS Code of Conduct as well as utilize the school’s resources to support the social emotional needs of their students

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: • Cover Letter • Resume • Three (3) Signed Letters of Recommendation from Administrators • Complete Transcripts for BA/BS Degree REQUIRED - unofficial is acceptable • Valid CALIFORNIA Teaching Credential - with English Learner, ELA1 or the equivalent - PREFERRED Credential - Math, English, Biology, or Social Science
