DUTIES:  Under the direction of the site principal composes documents (correspondence, agendas, minutes, bulletins, reports etc.) to communicate information to schools and district personnel, the public, state officials, etc.; monitors assigned activities and/or program components (attendance, program budget, time sheets, etc.) to ensure compliance with financial, legal and/or administrative requirements; prepares written materials (brochures, newsletters, school wide calendar, schedules etc.) to convey information regarding school and/or district activities and procedures; reconciles school budget cash accounts to maintain accurate balances and complying with school accounting practices; enrolls and transfers students; processes the ordering and the distribution of site supplies; ensures the availability of needed equipment; oversees work assignments of others to provide orientation and meet operational requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:   High School diploma or equivalent required; prior job related experience with increasing responsibility; knowledge of basic budgeting, financial and statistical record keeping, standard office equipment and computer applications. Must possess skills to operate office equipment including basic computer applications. Must be able to use English in both written and verbal form, using correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. Ability to sit for prolonged periods; work independently; interact with persons of different age groups and cultural backgrounds; meet established timelines and maintain confidentiality. Must possess a valid California Driver’s License, First Aid Certificate, tuberculosis clearance, and criminal justice fingerprint clearance.
