Substitute list will be for Instructional Assistants - Head Start & State Preschool program and Instructional Teacher Associate - Infant/Toddler for Early Head Start. These positions require an ECE permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). Please refer to the attached job descriptions to determine permit required and review the CTC Child Development Permit link for permit requirements and instructions. Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school, supplemented by 12 units of childhood education and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed in the job description. All successful candidates will be interviewed for the purpose of ranking and establishing a prospective active sub list.

  • CPR/First Aid Certification (EMSA certification required)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (3) Letters of Recommendation issued within the last year preferred)
