Are you looking to lead an established and very successful school community serving approximately 1100 students, 100 employees, and two unique educational offerings (classroom and homeschool/independent study)? Our organization is actively seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, collaborative, and forward-thinking educator to advance the mission and vision of the Hickman Community Charter District. Serving alongside HCCD Board and a strong and effective team, the new Superintendent will be expected to provide collaborative guidance and leadership as they support students, staff, and families while addressing challenges related to COVID-19, anti-charter legislation, charter renewal, and managed enrollment. Additional Information Hickman Community Charter District has consistently and equally served both classroom-based and non-classroom-based students as an all-charter district for over 25 years. Location: Hickman, CA serving Stanislaus and the 7 surrounding counties Total Enrollment: Approximately 1100 Salary: Competitive Open Date: December 10, 2021 Close Date: January 31, 2022 Interview Dates First-round interviews will be conducted in late February. Desired Experience/Education: Experience in student-focused leadership within a diverse learning community Proven experience in district-level management; charter school experience preferred Successful K-12 teaching experience; California preferred Strong fiscal background in school finance Possession of an Administrative Services Credential, or equivalent Masters
