*This is a categorically funded position through the 22-23 SY* Salary: $ 75,938 - $ 96,113 per year Bilingual Stipend Excellent Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits up to 10 years credit Under the direction of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), the Clinical Social Worker/Master’s Level Social Worker (MSW) and Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) will provide tiered clinical services for students at schools throughout the district; promote early identification of students with social-emotional issues and recommend appropriate interventions, supports and services; address barriers preventing academic, behavioral, attendance and social-emotional success. The MSW will participate in parent training and staff development, and assist in the development of preventative services to both general and special education students. The MSW may supervise social work interns, depending on experience.

* Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in Social Work issued by the California Commission on Teaching Credentialing (CTC) * Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited college or university. * Minimum of one year of employment in the field of social work while under supervision and working with school-age children, or a one-year field placement in a mental health setting working with school-age children. * Mandatory registration through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) * Valid California Driver’s License * Experience working in a multicultural and multilingual environment * Bilingual (Spanish) desirable
