Under the supervision of the principal, the Educational Specialist, Mild-Moderate teacher plans, organizes, presents, and evaluates a program of meaningful instruction to students in the areas assigned, is a positive and collaborative member of the school, grade level and department team, making positive contributions to the overall success of the school and students. The Educational Specialist, Mild-Moderate teacher performs adjunct duties and job responsibilities necessary to the successful operation of the school and district.

Valid California Education Specialist Mild/Moderate Credential w/ Autism, California EL Authorization, or CLAD certificate required. Bilingual authorization desirable. Attached credential copy must include DETAILED credential information including the document number, authorization code, authorization description, issue date and expiration date. Such copies can be obtained using the link provided to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing website through the “Secured Search” option “SUITABLE FOR FRAMING” VERSIONS AND EXPIRED COPIES OF YOUR CREDENTIAL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 1. Go to the http;//www.ctc.ca.gov 2. Click on Search for an Educator 3. Click on Secured Search 4. Enter SS number and birth date 5.
