DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Sub/Relief Outdoor Recreation SpecialistI is a part-time, on-call, non-permanent position at our Walden West Center in Saratoga and performs a variety of responsible utility functions related to maintenance, cleaning, food preparation, facility operations/support, student supervision, recreational activities, and administrative tasks in assigned departments/units; performs all other essential job related duties as assigned; and receives direct to general supervision within a framework of standard policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL/TYPICAL DUTIES • Challenge Course • Lifeguard • Cabin Leader support • Day Camp • Backpack • Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Strength, endurance and dexterity to participate in strenuous physical activities, including hiking and walking for extended periods of time WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Outdoor environment
