Minimum Experience One-year performing similar job duties are desired. Minimum Education Requirement Ability to read, speak and write in English and Spanish. Two (2) years of college is preferred. However, any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the above duties is acceptable. Must maintain proof of privately owned automobile insurance and possess a valid California Motor Vehicle operator’s license. Attach any documents that you feel will help demonstrate that you meet the minimum qualifications listed above (i.e. resume, transcript, diploma). A scanner to upload documents is available in the Human Resources office located at 1330 Truxtun Ave., Bakersfield, CA 93301. • The documents will be scanned and emailed to the candidate. It is the candidate’s responsibility to attach all documents to the EDJOIN application.

          CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Passage of a pre-employment medical assessment and current tetanus shot. Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and the possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operator’s license. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act. “The Kern County Superintendent of Schools Office prohibits discrimination, harassment, intimidation, and bullying based on actual or perceived ancestry, age, color, disability, gender, gender identity, gender expression, nationality, race or ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, marital or parental status or association with a person or a group with one or more of these actual or perceived characteristics”.
