Experience: One year of experience performing semiskilled functions pertaining to the servicing, maintenance and repair of gasoline and diesel powered motorized equipment. Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade, supplemented by training or coursework in the maintenance and repair of automotive equipment. License Requirement: Must possess a valid Class A or B with “P” endorsement, California Motor Vehicle Operator’s license or obtain one within the first six months Attach any documents that you feel will help demonstrate that you meet the minimum qualifications listed above (i.e. resume, transcript, diploma). A scanner to upload documents is available in the Human Resources office located at 1330 Truxtun Ave., Bakersfield, CA 93301. • The documents will be scanned and emailed to the candidate. It is the candidate’s responsibility to attach all documents to the EDJOIN application.

      CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: A preplacement medical assessment and substance abuse test, at office expense, is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must furnish hand tools common to the automotive service, maintenance and repair trade. Must maintain proof of privately owned automobile insurance and the possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operator’s license. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
