Atascadero Unified School District 5601 West Mall, Atascadero, CA 93422 Job Opportunity DATE: March 14, 2022 POSITIONS: SPECIAL NEEDS CLASSROOM ASSISTANT (SNCA) Atascadero Middle School SALARY: Range 20 (Step B - $15.51 to Step F - $18.86) HOURS: Monday through Friday 6.5 hrs/day 184 days per school year plus 11 paid holidays QUALIFICATIONS: Complete job description available at the District Office or online. - One year in any combination of training, education, and experience with students who are severely handicapped and/or emotionally disturbed and/or have behavioral needs. - Must pass professional aide test with 70% accuracy or be NCLB Compliant with 48 college semester units - Bilingual Desirable - Must pass DOJ Fingerprint Clearance - TB Clearance required prior to working - Valid California Driver License - Current CPR/First Aid Certificate DEADLINE: If interested, please complete a District Application, Letter of Interest, and Resume to Human Resources Dept.
