Job Summary
The job of Instructional Assistant-Visually Impaired is done for the purpose/s of assisting a teacher by working with visually impaired students one on one; and providing instructional support and clerical support to student. Assists students with lesson assignments (e.g. travel between classes, note taking, etc.) for the purpose of reaching their academic goals and potential.

All applicants must have: 1. High School diploma or GED 2. Six months experience working with children in a supervisory capacity, volunteer experience is accepted to meet the requirement. 3. A completed Employment Application. Resumes are not accepted in-lieu of a completed application.
QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL BE INVITED TO A FUTURE EXAMINATION. Instructional Assistant positions are 3 hours per day, itinerant position in the Yucca Valley Area. Applicants must meet the minimum requirements: > Passing score on written examination.
