Mandatory Testing Dates:

Multiple choice test link will be sent after application deadline and is due by 3:00 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2021. Those who pass will attend in-person practicum testing at EDCOE on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.

This recruitment will be used to form an eligibility list. The eligibility list will be active for a period of six months and will be utilized to fill current and future vacancies in this classification. The current vacancy is with our Communications department. Job Purpose Statement(s): Under the direction of the Public Relations Coordinator or immediate supervisor performs responsible and technical tasks related to providing support to the County Office of Education’s public relations program including: assisting in delivering information about the COE’s programs, activities, objectives; assisting in the production of a variety of digital publications intended for print and digital delivery; and assisting assigned supervisor with a wide variety of administrative and media production functions.

Experience: Two years’ related experience is required (marketing, communications). Specialized training or experience in graphic design required. Prior experience in education preferred. Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; any combination of related education and experience which demonstrates the ability of perform the duties and responsibilities as described. Knowledge of ADA website compliance, documents, and multimedia desirable.
