Sierra Foothills Academy is a K-12 Special needs education program with a small school environment, which enables us to work more hands on with our kids. Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team. As an SLPA, you will work closely with licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality therapy services to our students. Responsibilities: - Assists licensed SLP in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders. - Conducts therapy sessions under the supervision of an SLP, including articulation exercises, language activities, and social skills development. - Collaborates with SLP, educators, and other healthcare professionals to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. - Provides support with documentation, progress tracking, and administrative tasks as required. - Participates in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping our students overcome communication challenges. Your expertise will make a difference in the lives of our students by improving their ability to communicate.

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field. - California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). - Previous experience working with individuals with speech and language disorders preferred. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. - Compassionate, student-centered approach to therapy.
