All applicants will complete an appropriate District coaching application form. The application must be filled out online. Applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. on the closing date listed on the front of this flyer. REQUIRMENTS: 1. Fingerprinting 2. Current CPR/First Aid - Online Adult, Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED through the American Red Cross acceptable 3. Current TB Test 4. Minimum Coaching Qualifications -- Temporary Athletic Team Coaches shall give evidence of meeting minimum requirements by one or more of the means listed below: A. Demonstrate competency and experience in the sport applying for i.e. certification or rating by a recognized association of the sport being coached or a course, workshop, clinic, or participation in the specific sport for at least one (1) year at Varsity level; B. State Coaching Certification - must posses or be willing to complete within the first year of hire; C. Must successfully complete an interview related to the coaching skills and philosophy of the sport being interviewed for.

Coach Duties -- The following are representative duties for the Head Coach:
A. Reports to the Athletic Director.
B. Is responsible for the organization and supervision of all coaches and athletes within his/her program.
1. All assistant coaches and lower level coaches are expected to work together toward the same goals as set by the Head Coach.
C. Is to insure that his/her program pursues the objectives of the total athletic program and supports all other programs on campus, athletic or otherwise.
D. Must be knowledgeable of all rules and regulations set by the C.I.F., League, District, and school, and insure that all coaches and athletes in the program adhere to said rules and regulations.
E. Is responsible for building and maintaining positive public relations. Because we often times seek financial donations from parents and the community, we must keep open the lines of communication with the public! The Head Coach is responsible for returning phone requests in a timely manner and must make himself/herself accessible to the parents, community, and media.
