          San Diego Unified School District offers different daily rates of pay for visiting teachers (substitutes) depending on the length of the assignment and the number of days a visiting teacher works in year. Day-to-day visiting teacher daily rate: $250.00 Established Day-to-Day visiting teacher daily rate: $260.00 Long-term visiting teachers (those who complete more than five consecutive days in a single assignment) daily rate: $275.00 The San Diego Unified School District communicates information regarding the hiring process via email.
